This past weekend featured a few record tournaments in the South East. Fellow Connelly Skiers Jamie Beauchesne and Daniel Ordvako were on hand to use this opportunity to get some scores in. Jamie made it to 3@41 in all three rounds, scoring 2.5 twice and a full three in the final round. Daniel had a few great starts at 39, with a top score of 3.5@39.

May 17th, 20102010 Connelly Jump Skis Review
May 6th, 2010After receiving my new set of jumpers, it took a bit to get some fair conditions to make a legitimate comparison. But now the verdict is in! What I was looking for at the end of last season was something with more pop. Something that was going to get me up and out further with more speed generation into the ramp and this is what I found.
Wow!!! I mean these things are sweet. Comparing them in single wake cuts was my first test.
Results:
- Held better edge giving me cleaner deeper cuts
- Speed – at impact I could tell there was a difference in how much drag I had before the base of the ramp, which was less
- The BIGGEST difference was increased pop
With these new skis I noticed a dramatic difference in the action I got out of them off the top of the ramp. They were like spring boards that were working with me. It was amazing to feel the difference right out of the gate.
Conclusion:
With the added benefits of my 2010 Connelly jump skis my distances have already (and its way early in the game) increased in an amount that is making me super stoked for this seasons first comp. I think these skis are the leading jump skis on the market right now with the technology that will help give you the distances wanted! I encourage anyone that is looking into getting on a new set of jumpers this season to get a hold of the guys at Connelly ASAP! I think these are the HOTTEST skies on the market. If your looking for a set of jump skies that are going to give you the leading edge and ability to make the jumps needed to win, then Connelly LS300's are the skis your looking for.

April 9th, 2010Got to love Spring!!!
Went and took my first set yesterday since January, and oh man, was it the best thing ever! Like riding a bicycle… I'm mounting up the new jumpers today that consist of different core material than the standard LS300's. I'm about to do a set comparison between the two. Hopefully there will be some noticable differences. I'll keep you posted on what happens between the two skis after a few sets!
Stop back by as you'll want to find out the latest news on whats going on in the jump ski world!

February 25th, 2010Great day for a ski tour Starts at 2700 ft, and todays conditions were a nice blend of frozen rain(ice pellets) and snow. The winds were at 35mph, gusting to 65. A great day for fellow waterskier friend Wade Williams to join! We turned around at 4725ft, the wind was truely blowing us over!!
